Beyond the tour/rental price, there are some additional costs that may apply, which you can find attached an estimate based on the current values of October 2024. These costs may vary without notice due to fluctuations in fuel prices, port fees at various destinations, or other unpredictable variables.

Estimated Fuel Cost per Complete Tour:

Fuel consumption Capri Amalfi coast private boat tour and charter

Destination Port Fee

The port fee is required for disembarking at ports and visiting the chosen destinations. This fee, averaging €100.00 for destinations like Capri, Positano, Amalfi, or Ischia, applies only if you wish to disembark. It is not required if you prefer to enjoy the tour by staying on board.

Restaurant disembarking

For disembarkations made by tender to restaurants or beach clubs, there is no fixed rate, but it is customary to leave a tip for the boatman, generally around €20.00.

Skipper's tip

Regarding the skipper's tip, there is no suggested percentage, and it is not mandatory; however, it is customary to leave a recognition proportional to the dedication and effort demonstrated by the skipper during the tour.

Extra Hours

Our tours have a set duration from the moment we leave the port to when we return and the clients disembark from the boat. If available, extra hours can be added to the scheduled tour at the following rates:

  • Jeanneau DB “La Dolce Vita”: €350

  • Pardo 43 “That’s Amore”: €400

  • Tornado 50 “Skins”: €250

Blue Grotto Entrance Fee:
The entrance fee is 18 euros per person (as of January 2024), with the option to tip the boatman. It is payable on site by cash or credit card. The cost may vary, and the attraction may close without notice.

Why are some expenses not included in the tours?

  1. Maximum Flexibility
Our tours are fully customizable, and by not including fuel, port fees, or tickets such as the Blue Grotto entry, you have the freedom to change your route and destination at any time. Want to extend your trip, add a new stop, or take an unexpected detour? You are free to decide your itinerary, and we will cover any upfront costs. At the end of the tour, we will simply ask you to reimburse the actual expenses incurred.

  2. Cost Transparency
Costs like fuel, port fees, and entry tickets can fluctuate over time. Including them in a fixed price would mean estimating a cost that may not be accurate, especially when booking far in advance. This way, you only pay for what is actually due at the time of the tour.

  3. Customer Protection
In the event of a tour cancellation, you won’t be charged for any unincurred additional costs. This provides you with extra peace of mind, allowing flexibility for last-minute changes or cancellations.
